Mapping WebFiles with WebDAV

Help Center File Manager Help Center Mapping WebFiles with WebDAV

WebFiles is a Uniform Access online file storage system that is now available to faculty, staff, and students. WebDAV allows you to open a window to your webfiles.washington.edu account using your operating system. From the file window, you can easily drag and drop files or folders from your computer hard drive online into WebFiles. You can also delete, rename, copy, or move files and folders in WebFiles as if they were on your hard drive.

To access WebFiles via WebDAV, you will first need to activate your WebFiles service. You can do this by logging in to File Manager or by turning on WebFiles as one of your UW NetID resources. Follow the links below for either of these options.
