About Artifacts

Artifacts can be any kind of file, such as pictures, essays, or movies. They come in many sizes and formats ranging from scanned art work to lab reports. Artifacts are more than just files, though-- each artifact has a description and list of keywords associated with it, making your collection of artifacts easy to search.

When artifacts are uploaded to Portfolio, they are stored in the My Artifacts section. There is currently an artifact storage limit of 512 MB. You may see how much memory you have used by checking the usage information listed in My Artifacts. If you are working with large, memory-intensive files, you will need to prioritize which files you upload to Portfolio.
