Change the Page Layout

Help Center Portfolio Help Center Change the Page Layout

Layout determines the relative position of text and artifacts on your published portfolio pages. Page layouts highlight different parts of your portfolio by attracting the viewer's attention. For example, placing your artifacts above your text gives the impression of captions for each artifact.

You can choose to apply one of several layout options to your published portfolio. You can apply layouts either to an entire portfolio, or a particular page.

Follow the steps below to change the layout for your entire portfolio:

  1. Click Preferences in the upper right corner of the tool.
  2. Scroll down to "Portfolio Preferences," and select one of the four layout options.
  3. Click Save preferences.

Follow these steps to change the layout for a particular page:

  1. Go to the Portfolio Summary for the portfolio you would like to work on, and click a page title.
  2. Click Edit page layout on the "I want to" menu at the left.
  3. On the next page, select one of the four layouts of text and images that are available.
  4. You can apply the new layout to all the pages in your portfolio; select the checkbox next to "Apply this layout to all the pages in my portfolio."

Note: Layouts are applied only when you preview or publish your page; you will not see layout changes when working on your portfolio.
