Create a New Folder

Follow the steps below to create a new folder:

1. Click New Folder in the top menu bar. The "Create a new folder" page will appear in the right frame, and your folders in the left frame will be highlighted.
2. Choose a location to save your new folder. SimpleSite uses the main directory "public_html" as the default location of your new folder. To save your new folder within one of your other existing folders, click the folder in the left frame. The correct path will appear automatically in the "Location on your Web site" field.
3. Enter a name for the new folder in the "Unique folder name" field.
4. Click Next to create the new folder. The folder will appear in alphabetical order in the left frame and the "Folder summary" page will appear in the right frame.
The name of your folders cannot contain spaces or special characters. You can use a hyphen or an underscore in the filename.
