What's Changing

The Catalyst tool for accessing your files on the Homer and Dante servers via a Web browser will no longer be available.

What's Not Changing

• Your files will not change at all.
• Your files and Web pages are still safe and secure on the Homer and Dante servers.
• You do not have to move your files.

If you want to leave your files where they are

Learn about other tools to access your files on Homer and Dante, such as FileZilla, SSH Secure FTP, or Fugu. Use this option if you maintain a Web site on the Homer or Dante servers.

If you want to use a Web browser for accessing your files

Consider moving your files to the online file storage available with UW Windows Live or UW Google Apps. Either of these options will give you the same kind of easy access to your files you've been used to with File Manager.
