Google Login for Catalyst Web Tools
Up until recently, non-UW collaborators who wanted to use Catalyst Web Tools had two options. They could get a sponsored UW NetID from a current UW faculty or staff member, or they could create a ProtectNetwork (PN) account and use a PN ID. On November 2, UW-IT released a third option for logging in to Catalyst Web Tools: Google ID.
A Google ID lets participants or collaborators use (but not own or create) any Catalyst Web tool. Google accounts can be created quickly and for free.
