Workshops Saturday Adobe Workshop Event

This project-based workshop will cover the three main applications of Adobe’s Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Throughout the day, we will incorporate elements from each of these applications into a finished project by the end of class.

The Workshops

Photoshop, the industry standard for image editing, can help you enhance your digital photographs to give your work a professional edge. Throughout this hands-on lesson, you will learn how to retouch photographs, manipulate images, work with layers, and save graphics. You will also learn more advanced features such as filters, actions, automation, layer properties, and an overview of ImageReady for publishing graphics to a Web Site.

Illustrator, Adobe's graphic design and drawing program, will help you create and manipulate vector graphics and design professional-looking documents. Other topics include: specific stroking effects, color features, and layering techniques.

InDesign is a comprehensive desktop publisher, which enables you to design and develop your own publications. You will learn how use InDesign to incorporate text and formatting as well as dynamic tools such as text wrap, precise image manipulation and placement, story editor, paragraph styles, and color handling. Other topics include: guidelines for templates and simple image creation to complement your text.
